What I liked
I was very anxious when admitted to Sellers Ward in March 2010 as I'd had a bad experiance at a different hospital 12 months previously but Chorley Hospital is totaly different and couldn't have been any better. So I would like to say a HUGE "Thank you" to all the staff who looked after me as nothing was ever too much trouble.
Also a special "Thank you" to the theatre staff who talked me through every stage of the procedure and took away all my fears.
What could be improved
The only down side was that I had to wait 12 hours after being admitted to the ward before going to theatre, during this time I became dehydrated and ended up on a drip to put fluids back into my system, surely this could have been avoided with better logistics.
Anything else?
As with most NHS hospitals the car parking system is a nightmare - can nothing be done to improve this?
