I visited urgent care yesterday suffering from a severe sore throat. After being seen I was told that there was redness but it didn't need anything. I made an appointment with my own doctor this morning and was diagnosed with a severe throat infection.My doctor couldn't understand how it was missed. I went to urgent care to avoid a day off work- was a total waste of time as I have ended up being off anyway.
