About: The Horder Centre - St Johns Road

A very satisfactory experience.

May I suggest that the all the equipment we are sent home with is requested to be returned - not just the walking sticks and lavatory stand - to be reused to save money for the NHS

First of all, we are so pleased that you had a pleasant experience with us, that's what we like to hear! Secondly, thank you for your suggestion- you raise a very valid point. To go some way in answering, we are able to accept back all equipment apart from the raised toilet seat and sock aids because of concerns regarding infection control. We are unable to clean toilet seats at an acceptable level for hospital use, but we do encourage patients to clean them and store away or donate to family if possible. Lastly, we do accept sock aids if they are unused, but very often patients continue to use them post operatively.

Thank you for suggesting to this to us, it is very important to do what we can for the NHS and the environment! Thanks again for your response, we wish you an excellent recovery!
