What I liked

Not much, except the care received from the consultant was good, and always is.

What could be improved

However this is a hospital that makes everyones appointment for the same time and every single time I go Im always the last to be seen. A 2 to 3 hour wait every time is ridiculous.

My last appointment in July 09 should have been in fact in April 2009 but they failed to send me my 9 month appointment, and then couldnt get me in until 31 July. Now im due my next 9 month appointment and again I should have long received an appointment but havent, so I spoke to the secretary of my consultant today (dont ring the booking office, they are USELESS, they said oh yes, you should have received an appointment but havent and would pass it on to the bookings office. When I asked when it would be they smirked and said at least June. I thought they were pulling my leg, but they weren't. This isnt what I call a 9 monthly appointment. I care about my eyesight even if they dont and need to ensure they are ok. The service is appalling, and Im thinking of changing to another hospital. I didnt find them amusing one bit.

Yes, avoid if you can, care is excellent, that is when you get it.
