About: Sunderland Eye Infirmary

I've been twice in the space of a month with my daughter for pain and redness of her eye which came on after either pressure or activities.

She wear contact lenses so they straight away blame them even though she only wears them once a week and it comes on before she even puts them in. Then they say she is allergic to the dog or cat or dust mite however as my daughter also suffers chest problems she had a alleged test done which proves she isn't allergic to any of them she hasn't got hay fever but now the eye infirmary still say she has allergy to a dog or cat. Refuse to look into it further and dismissed anything else without even checking. Basically called me a liar or made me feel like it anyway. Then getting meds the nurse was rude and abrupt. We asked if the antibiotics would react with my daughter other antibiotics, the nurse replied well the Dr would of thought of that. To which we said yeah they probably would if they actually asked us her history. This hospital needs a full revamp of staff and care equality and manners on holistic care. Even the receptionist was never at the desk.
