"Dignity,respect and information"

I was a patient in Hugo Fleming ward for 2days and 2 nights. This is not a complaint as such but I would really like the matter to be brought to your attention. All the time I was there not once did any member of staff introduce themselves to me or ask what I would like to be called etc. I received a very brief explanation as to the procedure the night before and also felt like a slab of meat when I was having the procedure done. I thought a nurse was supposed to be with you explaining what was happening and giving reassurance this did not happen ,and only twice did the surgeon speak to me.
