Needed to visit the unit when my contact lense got dislodged. I was seen within 5 minutes of arriving. The doctor/nurse (not sure) was kind efficient, involved my son who had driven me there and helped me to feel safe and reassured. Removed my lense and I was home safely within half an hour. What a change from the 4 hour wait in another hospital when I took my 82 yr old mum who had collapsed at her care home and was brought in by ambulance and left around on a trolley for hours even when she was eventually seen whilst they decided what to do for her.
