"That I was treated as an equal ..."

About: Royal Derby Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

That I was treated as an equal - not 'talked down to'.

All staff were extremely pleasant.

What could be improved

The length of time which elapsed between 'booking in' and actually going to the small theatre.

The number of times I verified a specific request only to find at the end the details had not been written up fully and correctly.

Accepting feedback in the spirit in which it was provided.

Anything else?

After what was a minor operation my recovery has been exceedingly protracted.

One month on and a sore throat still lingers as does a slight general malaise/tiredness. However, I am pleased to say that, over the past few days, two other side-effects have at last disappeared
