"ENT clinic kent and canterbury hospital"

after booking appointment online got to hospital and no one knew who I was seeing in ENT. after seeing the consultant I was told I had polyps and a small Nasal septum deviation which means I have trouble breathing in and out of one nasal I also have had no sense of smell for many years and I also have sleep apnae which is all linked together I was told treatment can be an operation or tablets and a rinse wash. I decided to go for the tablets and rinse wash. the tablets lasted for 28 days as they were steriods the rinse you have to buy yourself at £10 a box and thats it. I received a letter 2 weeks ago telling me that I had now been discharged from the clinic as I did not want the operation and if the symptons persisted to go back to my doctor and be referred back again. I was not told by this consultant that if I did not take the surgery I would be discharged if I had been told that I would of gone for the surgery. now I have to start the whole process of going back to my doctors and being referred all over again. I do hope that I get to see the same consultant again so I can ask why I was not given a choice and why they did not tell me to my face that they were going to discharge me.
