"Pain management"

About: Rochdale Infirmary / Pain Management

My consultant is great and caring, sadly they have to work under a cost cutting hatchet. My treatment, that has worked well for me, was altered from 16 weeks to 26 weeks without my involvement. I had a long battle with the PCT and my 16 week treatments were reinstated. Why should a patient have to have a battle with the PCT to get back a treatment that has been working for years? What about the 100s of other poor souls that have also had their treatment cut by a faceless, uncaring accountant? We should not have to go through this shoddy system of cuts - these cuts make people live lives in pain.
