What I liked

over the past few months i have been treated in x ray , nuclear medician,ward 311, specialist outpatients,urology,oncology and i am currently being treated in radiothreapy.

i have been treated in a proffesional manner by friendly, well trained staff who have always explained procedures in great detail and have put me at ease. nothing has been to much trouble for these people

What could be improved

the only issue i have is the problems with car parking and the amount of time it can take to leave the hospital grounds.

i also feel that car parking should be free for regular visitors to the hospital eg cancer patients.

Anything else?

everyone from reception staff, nurses, doctors consulants and,treatment specalists have all been first class and the hospital should be very proud of them.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that the care you receive at the Royal Derby Hospital is of the highest standard.

We understand that it can get busy around the hospital during peak times and we have been working hard to create more car parking spaces for patients and visitors; in February we opened an additional 100 spaces dedicated to patients & visitors in Car park 7.
