"You are all a credit to the NHS"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Bones, joint and fractures

(as the patient),

I was in this ward after a hip replacement in August. The staff work hard and are extremely professional. My consultant was Mr Campton and right down to the tea lady (amazing tea) I met nothing but kindness.

You are all a credit to the NHS. Thank you all from pre-op to my going home for making what could have been a stressful time much easier.

I work in a small team within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. Part of the team’s role is to support patients and carers through our feedback systems which will help to improve the services we provide. On Patient Opinion, I support Lorna Gray, Patient Experience Public Involvement Project Manager, and Niall McGrogan, Head of Patient Experience Public Involvement.

Dear Lizzie j

Thank you for taking the time to post on Patient Opinion. I am pleased to read that you were happy with the services at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. What it is important, is that you have highlighted how you felt by the kind way that all of our staff treated you. This is how we would like all of our patients to feel.

I will pass on your kinds words to the staff involved. I am sure they will be delighted to receive such positive feedback from you.

I hope you are now recovering well.

Best wishes
Lisa
