"Excellent all round service"

I wish I could mention staff by name in this because they were uniformly excellent. I was booked in for a colonoscopy after seeing a consultant. They opened out of hours and it all got done in the evening or at the weekend, minimising disruption to my work week, and once my GP had sent off the referral it all happened very quickly. The RGN that consented and cannulated me was friendly and warm and made the bit I'd been dreading OK. They were very skilled at inserting the cannula. the endoscopist that I had was very experienced, completed my colonoscopy with no pain or discomfort whatsoever and explained what they were doing as I watched it on the screen- fascinating. I can't fault University Hospital Coventry - the time frames, care provided and skill of its staff are of the highest standard. They made a procedure I'd been dreading quick and easy and were friendly and informative throughout. Ten out of ten.
