What a horrible experience I had with Warrington EPU early this year. Following waiting in A&E for hours after bleeding, I was told the EPU would only see/scan me 3 days later. During that time I went home and lost lots of blood - I was on my own and in an awful state and tried ringing EPU over and over but they never answer the phone. After finally getting through there was a lack of sympathy and was told I still had to wait for the appointment. Finally went to my appointment and miscarriage was confirmed. Staff were actually nice one the day and I was told that when I next fall pregnant to call and let EPU know and I would be given an earlier reassurance scan. When this eventually did happen again, I called up (after trying ringing about 30 times - not exaggerating either) and the member of staff on the other end said they don't do that and basically made out that I was lying. Needless to say I have chosen to have my next child at Bolton Hospital where the EPU team are amazing.
