"Long term patient"

I have unfortunately been unlucky enough to have chronic back pain for nearly 10 years and have been under the pain clinic for eight of those years, I have seen many different consultants and all of them have been so helpful and understanding. I am know on a medication which means I have even more appointments and phone calls but I can honestly say that everyone who works in this clinic are helpful, respectful and will anything to help...,,more recently I had a new complaint with my back and all it took was a call to the clinic and discussion with my nurse who straight away discussed it with a doctor and I had am appointment within a week and a MRI scan within 24 hours, their card didn't stop there they made sure even when I had to have an operation that my pain was properly managed post surgery and even both the doctor as well as my nurse visited me on the ward.i cannot recommend this department highly enough and they have got my pain to a manageable level and thus given me a quality of life back.
