About: Bradford Royal Infirmary / Ophthalmology

I was dealt with in a totally efficient way.

All procedures where explained before being carried out, I needed quite a number.

All staff where polite and friendly. The whole team where excellent. I have to return for more appointments and my only concern is the parking.Its a real problem finding a parking space.

Dear Kathryn, thank you very much for giving us your feedback about your experience in ophthalmology. It is great to hear that people explained things well and were polite and friendly.

We will let the team know about your comments, and I know they will very much appreciate it.

We are aware of the difficulties people face trying to park, and I do apologize that at present this is harder than usual, because we have lost a number of spaces to the building work for the new wing. However this is now nearing completion, and there are some plans for some additional parking, a new drop-off zone at the new entrance, and we are working on some other ideas to make parking easier in the medium-long term.

In the meantime it would be wise to allow more time than usual, or to think about whether you could use any other means of transport. If you are still concerned about this in relation to your ongoing appointments, please do contact us on patient.experience@bthft.nhs.uk and we will try to help you find a solution.
