"No results fro biopsy six months on"

My 22 year old daughter attended as a day patient for an adult tonsillectomy after being told she had an abnormal growth.Upon discharge I asked how long the results would take to be told around twi to three weeks.After 5 weeks of nothing I contacted hospital to which at first they could not find evidence of a biopsy. A couple of hours later I had a call to say results should be sent through within a week. Another two weeks nothing. I called again advised a letter was being sent to myself and faxed to my doctors. To this day both my doctor or my daughter have received the results.I think this is absolutely shocking.
