I arrived into A&E early afternoon on the 19th August - I was greeted by the Stroke team who were kind, explained exactly what was going on - was booked straight into the CT scanner as I have a brain tumour to assess whether I had a bleed. After 20 minutes or so I was informed it was not a stroke - bloods were eventually taken as I have dreadful veins and my nurse struggled to get a cannula in. Once taken I had a cup of tea and was tucked up warm to await my results. All staff were friendly and courteous.
I was looked after by a Dr who was kind and also had a sense of humour. I was then cleared for leaving about 6pm, when I was able to walk again. I am very grateful for the care that I received there.
