"Surgical miscarriage surgery"

Very impressed with the Emergency Gynaecology Assessment Unit. Sadly my husband and I suffered with a second miscarriage and went to pembury today for surgical management. I can't praise the staff enough. I've never been under general anaesthetic and was very nervous all the doctors and nurses were fantastic. When I was taken down to surgery and being prepped I was very teary, the kind theatre staff held my hand and wiped my tears, they where fantastic. Once wheeled back up our nurse was the right mix of chirpy and respectful, it was nice to smile at such a sad time. They also looked after my husband and spoke to him as much as me, when I was taken from the room they told him they would look after me and not to worry. The hospital itself was clean and bright with natural light. You also get your own room for the duration of your stay, which was nice for my husband as he had somewhere he could stay. Thank you for making such a difficult time a bit easier.
