"Emergency treatment"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital / Accident and emergency

On the evening of August Bank Holiday, I rushed down to the A and E department with my 97year old father who was in considerable discomfort and distress. We were treated with courtesy and efficiency and he came out two hours later with a diagnosis and medication. He asked me to communicate this as he was confused by the follow up call he received yesterday.

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing this feedback with us. It's good to hear that your dad was so well looked after in A&E. If he would like clarification regarding the follow up call, we would recommend you get in touch with our patient liaison (PALS) team who will be able to speak to the department on his behalf and resolve any issues or answer questions. You can call PALS on 0800 019 3282 (Free phone) or email pals.gloucestershirehospitals@glos.nhs.uk

Best wishes

The team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
