"Hu colony surgery"

About: Beaumont Hospital

During a recent day I was greeted by a very polite person be shown to my own room (despite being nHS). The hips oral is very clean and the admissions process was very smooth and staightforward. Within 30mins of arriving I had seen the nurse, consultant and anaesthetists - all of which were very fried it and reassuring. I cannot fault admissions, treatment or the recovery room team at all. Discharge however was a little unorganized and I did not get to see the consultant so have only a very vague idea (from reading my file) what was actually carried out during surgery and now just wait six weeks for a follow up. This combined with a little poor communication between staff after my operation was the only thing that let the hospital down.
