"I don't know where I'm going from here"

About: Wrexham Maelor Hospital

(as the patient),

I was admitted and scheduled to have my bladder tumor removed.

The operation was postponed three times and I was then told I could go home ten days later to wait for a further appointment, I got dressed and was set to leave, on the foot of the bed was a blue coloured plastic board used to clip on patient data etc. It was overhanging the rail at the foot of the bed and as my sense of balance was not very good I put my left hand on the overhanging board, the bed top frame was now the fulcrum point, the board tilted striking my arm causing me to fall fracturing my left hip, I was quickly X rayed and admitted to the Paantomime Ward after my hip had been repaired surgically, I am now unable to walk unaided as my knee on the left side is collapsing, I was given exercises to try to strengthen the muscles on the affected side but it's so painful I am having difficulty in carrying them out. I don't know where I'm going from here.
