Over the last 11 years I have had 3 operations and attended clinics for my knees, eyes, heart, digestion and brain. Everyone has been most helpful and I have nothing but praise for the care I have received. My husband was brought into the dedicated stroke A & E two years ago where an aggresive glioblastoma was found and the care and love with which both he and I were treated ensured that he had a dignified death 12 days later. I cannot praise enough. I do feel that more nurses on the wards would lessen the tremendous workload. I presented myself 1 year earlier at A & E after a fall. The triage nurse saw me within minutes, gave me painkillers and said a Dr would be with me shortly. Four minutes later the doctor saw me, gave me an ultra sound scan and took me for x-rays. Wonderful service and care.
