"No Alternatives Offered for Under 25s"

I am 21 years old and was referred here for specialist treatment for emotionally unstable personality disorder, half way through treatment I was told the service would no longer be available to under 25s. As a result I was forced to cut my cbt short and when I enquired as to where services would be transferred to I was told staff didn't know and that it may well be outside of Birmingham which is entirely unsuitable. I have had no follow up and am still waiting to find out if I can be treated under the NHS.

Response from Ten Acres Centre

We are concerned to hear about this interruption to your treatment. It is the case that some services for those under 25 are now provided by a different trust. It would be helpful if you could contact us through our PALS/Customer Relations team on Freephone 0800 953 0045 so that they can identify if further treatment has been sourced and if not, highlight any lack of service provision with our local commissioners.
