"Insensitive doctors on Ward 13"

About: Leighton Hospital / General surgery

(as a relative),

My husband spent 3 weeks on this ward. He was diagnosed with a rare form of bowel cancer and advised he had 3 months to live.

We found one doctor to be very insensitive and uncaring and they treated both my husband and myself with the utmost disrespect and insensitivity at a time when I was not well myself.

I feel that their conduct needs investigating because we feel they were very uncaring, and in-compassionate to relatives needs.

The General Surgery Team would like to apologise for any upset one of the doctors has caused to you and your husband.
