"Hospital appointments continuously put back "

I have suffered with rheumatoid arthritis for four years and during that time have received good care from the rheumatology department, until recently. Having waited almost four months for a referral to see a podiatrists near where I live and having phoned the department on several occasions, I am now having to wait even longer due to what I believe is some break down in communication between the departments. As my condition is a chronic one, I find this totally unacceptable. Also I find having my hospital appointments continuously put back very frustrating.
