"One stop breast clinic"

About: Homerton University Hospital

I was referred to the breast clinic after my GP found a lump in my breast. Understandably this was a very worrying experience for me but the NHS were fantastic and in particular I would like to thank all the staff at the breast clinic. My appointment came through the very next day and they even sent a reminder by text ( not that this would be needed!). The appointment was just shy of a weeks wait, well under the NICE guidelines for time time scale.

I was terrified on the day but the clinic and staff were amazing. After a very short wait I saw the breast consultant who was very reassuring and kinkdg amswered my questions.I had to have an ultra sound and then see the consultant again but the wait was very minimal and the staff very helpful. I was in and out with the all clear within 2 hours. Thank you so much!
