"Excellent Maternity Services"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent / Maternity care

i recently gave birth to my first baby at Queens Hospital Burton and I was delighted with the hospital experience and impressed with the professionalism of the staff that looked after us.

In particular the kindness and compassion of the staff in the maternity assessment unit, in delivery suite and on the maternity ward was wonderful and my husband and I were very grateful to a number of staff members who treated us with dignity and respect at every stage of the birth of our baby, reassuring us throughout, at what is a potentially stressful and scary time.

The midwifes during delivery were amazing and I was so grateful for their help and reassurance during the birth.

We were so well looked-after and the experience was as good as it possibly could have been thanks to the dedication and genuine human kindness of the staff.

The facilities were also very good and I felt relaxed and private in the delivery room.

Every stage of our care transpired efficiently but we never felt like we were being 'processed'.

The care was very personal and we were treated with extreme kindness at every stage.

I would thouroughly recommend the maternity unit to anyone and would like to reassure any expectant mother that they will receive very good care from friendly and genuinely kind staff at Queens Hospital.

Thank you so much to all staff that helped us we are so grateful.
