"Personal care from staff"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary / Clinical haematology

I was recently sent to hospital by my gp , I had low iron and needed a transfusion and 2 units of blood. I am very scared of needles so was not looking forward to having any , the ward I was on was amazing one staff member in particular made me feel at ease and talked me through the whole process step by step. They made me comfortable and helped me with my fear of needles, I would just like to tell a few people about my experience . And hopefully the member of staff will get the praise they deserve. Thank you to all staff on the ambulatory ward
