"Something to consider......"

About: The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore) / Trauma and orthopaedics

I drove from Lowestoft to RNOH this week for my son in law to attend an appointment.... He can't drive at the moment due to surgery. After a 4 hour drive he was seen by a nurse..... All that happened was he had stitches removed. Nothing else. We then had a 4 hour drive home. Could this not have been done at a local doctors or local hospital? In view of the NHS being asked to make cuts to services yet again..... Money could have been saved..... The travel expenses were £34, it would have been £0 if he was seen locally..... The RNOH is a fantastic hospital run by fantastic staff. I applaud you for the work you do.

Please feel free to share this with your LEAN practitioners.
