"A and E admission"

About: Lister Hospital

The staff are kind and considerate though almost without exception they forget to say their name unless prompted (doctors are best at introducing themselves). The porters chat in their own language (not english) which feels rude to patients and one of the ecg /blood technicians was very grumpy and rude which let the whole team down. However the department feels well organised and calm even when busy.

Thanks for the feedback and we're glad to see that overall your experience was a good one, although it shows that the little things - like introducing yourself - make such a big difference. We'll be feeding your comments back to our emergency department colleagues at the Lister so that they can reflect upon them further. Thanks again for sharing them with us.
