What I liked

An excellent service provided by the LA8 whilst I was having radiotherapy during January and February (just finished my treatment yesterday).

Since I got diagnised, with every new treatment I started, I felt very nervous. Massive thanks to this team to make me feel at ease.

I had 18 radiotherapy treatments.

I found staff at the LA8 Team very kind and understanding

What could be improved

All the facilities and staff are very helpful.

There is nothing that needs to be improved.

Anything else?

All I can say is that at such a freightening time in my life I have been taken care of fantastically well by my Oncologist, the doctor and the Registrar.

I would like to be noted that the doctor has got very re-assuring smile and a caring nature.

It did make me feel so much better whilst undergoing the treatment.

Thank you so much for making things much easier for me.

My thanks to the scanning team at Mount Vernon who showed great kindness and talked me through the procedure.

Going in to hospital for any treatment can be worrying, even at the best of times.

But facing a cancer diagnosis, as well as the ensuing treatments, is about as hard as it gets.

Which is why every member of the cancer team at Mount Vernon goes out of their way to make your time in their care as easy and stress-free as it can be.

While the LA8 team - as well as all of their colleagues at the cancer centre - will no doubt be delighted to read your feedback, they'll also be the first to say that they aim to ensure that every one of their patients comes away with the same feeling of a job well done.
