About: Mount Vernon Cancer Centre

What I liked

I was being treated for radio therapy durning december & early january. Most of my treatment happened in la1, to this team I wish to send my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, so kind and understanding. Having not experienced radio therapy before I was very nervous but the team put me at ease straight away. The nhs should be very proud of them all.

My thanks also go to la3 and la8 for which a couple of treatment were carried out there.

I would also like to pass on my thanks to the transport department, not sure if this is the right site, but my driver was helpful, funny and a joy to be with, even with all the hanging around (which could not be helped)

all in all, my time at the mount vernon cancer centre was quite frankly enjoyable, if treatment can be classed as enjoyable. I will miss everyone that I have met there.

Once again a big thank you.

Many thanks for letting us know about your experiences of our cancer centre and its staff.

We'll make sure that they, and the patient transport team, get to read about your kind words.
