"Perfect experience in the Birthing Centre"

I had my first child upstairs in the delivery suite at the RVI and had a fantastic experience, but in March this year I had my second baby in the Birthing Centre and it was the best birthing experience I could've hoped for. Staff were fantastic, so knowledgable and relaxed. I felt everything was under perfect control. I laboured and gave birth in the water, and was the first person to hold my baby as I got to pull her up out of the water. It was a memory I'll never forget. Afterwards we stayed overnight, and my husband could stay with me which was great. I couldn't fault the entire experience. People in other countries would pay thousands of dollars for what we have on our doorstep!
