"Investigation of heart condition"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

Saturday 20 August 2016 midmorning sharp pain in chest. Used Nitrolingual spray but called ambulance.

Very prompt attention by two paramedics and taken to Cheltenham General Hospital A and E.

Immediate review made and blood tests and xrays arranged.

Blood pressure checked and ecg throughout the day.

Retained in hospital overnight until report from Consultant the following day.

Discharged Sunday a.m with advice and further investigations to be made.

Received kind consideration and attention from all staff throughout my stay. As a person who likes to know how things work I was very pleased to be in a bay opposite the "control centre".

I was quite impressed by the interaction of the staff and ambulance crews.
