Having been admitted at the centre, it was the most boring, frustrating time spent. I was asked if I would like to go home because (quote) " I have the power to do so" (unquote) I believe that the word 'Authority' would have been the correct word. The staff who keep an eye on everyone are very friendly and in most cases helpful, but these are not the people needed to help anyone with severe problems. There was no experienced staff at any time, no help sessions and all in all, the place is a dead loss. The head 'poncho' appeared to be in praise to themselves and was as helpful as a cork in water. Just placing people with genuine problems in a place like this and attempting to bore them with no help does not help anyone, it only makes matters far worse rather than the help needed. This is a complete waste of the Health Services resources and the place would gain more to what it is supposed to do if the people in charge were removed and replaced with experienced dedicated staff. A waste of space.
