"Only 1 nurse dealing with all patients"

initially 1-1.5 hr wait with 2 nurses....after 1.5 hr wait and never actually seeing a patient being called in, I enquired as to how much up the line I had moved....nothing in 1.5 hrs!! Apparently only 1 nurse was working ( the other was in a meeting) I said it was misleading to write on the board that 2 nurses were working...this was subsequently changed to 1 nurse and a 4 hr wait! I was told that is should be 3 nurses at any one time but at 2pm on a Thursday afternoon it was only 1....dreadful service, unhelpful staff and misleading information.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We are sorry you had this experience. Unfortunately the walk in centres are very busy and staff have to prioritise patients based on clinical need, so some people will find they have to wait longer to be seen. However, we have been looking at improving staffing levels and have recently amended the opening hours to make sure we have the right level of staff to cover the service safely.
