I have just spent 5 days as a patient at the centre for integrative care in Glasgow and I just have to say what an amazing experience it was. The staff are kind, caring and gentle and throughout the day and night, they are there to help with anything you need. Whether that be pain relief, a cup of tea, complimentary treatments to help you sleep, or by simply being there if you need a shoulder to cry on. The staff and ward have received many awards and commendations for outstanding work and excellence. Now the senior management wants to close the inpatient beds down. This is outrageous. Not only are they denying the patient's an invaluable service, but will also put additional pressure on the mainstream NHS. I hope they don't have their way. It would be nothing short of criminal.
"What an amazing experience"
