"Blood test"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

I have been ringing and ringing to try and get results, no one is picking up the phone, ask the poor receptionists they tried to put me though so many times,mi then asked for pals and boom, straight onto answerphone, all I would like when I'm feeling so unwell is the results of my blood test, is it too much to ask?

I am sorry to read of the difficulty you are having trying to get through to our Phlebotomy Department.

I understand that you have also been unable to contact our PALS team via telephone, and I am sorry that you are having such difficulty speaking to someone. Please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison team by email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk or by calling 01708 435 454 and if unanswered, please leave a message as our PALS officers check this and respond to patients regularly throughout the day.

Yours Sincerely

Kathryn Halford

Chief Nurse
