"Little common sense"

So this hospital offered the first available appointment to see my thumb.. my GP had referred me after I visited them twice as the pain had not improved after injuring it in early June. I have been in a splint more or less since then.

So I had to wait 4 weeks for the appointment... fairly normal. I was kept waiting for 1/2 hour but then saw the Dr. They agreed that there was an issue but wanted an ultra sound and xray and then I had to come back and see them.. and to keep wearing the splint....I went to get an appointment for the scan and xray ... earliest appointment was 12th September ..... I nearly cried... then to add insult to injury (pardon the pun) the Dr was then away until the 29th September so I am 'stuck' in the splint, in pain until then (oh yes I make cakes so I am unable to work so this is costing me money and I am self employed). Really really disgusted to be honest, staff showed no compassion that they actually cared.
