"Visit to Children's A & E"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

We brought our 4 year old grandson to A & E on Tuesday afternoon when he injured his head in a play park. The care we received was second to none. He was treated with respect, all the doctors and nurses spoke to him and explained exactly what they were doing and why. His wound needed stitching and he had such confidence in the staff treating him they were able to do the suturing with just a local anaesthetic and Entonox. He has said he would like to see the doctors and nurses again because everyone was so kind. Thank you for your care. I would also like to make mention of the paramedic who answered our 999 call, again his care was 100 per cent.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your very kind words with us.

We are so glad that you had such a positive experience within the Emergency Department.

Please be assured that I will share your comments with the teams involved who will pleased to receive such positive feedback.

May I take this opportunity to wish your grandson a speedy recovery.

Kind regards.

Debbie
