Why a earth are appointment times given for this department when they cant be administered to? My appointment time this morning was for 10.20am, I arrived at 10-10am & after a few minutes a notice was displayed, informing patients of a 40 minute delay, after siting there waiting in extreme discomfort, due to the Osteoarthritis I suffer from in both knee's & a failed total Ankle Replacement for an hour, this notice was then amended, to show that there would now be an added hour & twenty minutes on top of the time I had already waited, to which I announced to a member of staff that I was not prepared to wait any longer & left. This is the second time this has happened, as todays appointment, was a follow up, to exactly what happened on my previous appointment, when again after a few minutes of arriving, a notice of a 40 minute delay was displayed & was amended to a further 50 minutes after that period had expired! Each time I am sent an appointment, I get a follow up text message, informing me that failure to attend would cost the NHS £160.00!
