"Incompetent hearing test"

About: Kingston Hospital

I was fully tested for hearing loss in a sound proof cabinet at Cobham Hospital, found aids were needed, and referred up the ladder to the Audiology Dept. at Kingston where I was given the same test again but not in a sound proof enclosure and with noise coming from the floor above.

I quite rightly complained but was told the results from their satelite hospital taken under proper conditions were not available to them.

"Why not?", one asks.

I should have left at once.

But I wrote to the head of department drawing attention to this glaring incompetence but have never had a reply.
