What I liked Having had an operation at Bedford Hospital in February 2007 where I can only describe the experience as a nightmare. The nurses treated the patients as if on a production line. The ward I was in was poorly cleaned and the ward toilet was disgusting and samples left for 36 hours before being collected. Nurses sometimes took up to 2 hours to respond to ringing for attention. I also caught CFD . When I was admitted to Treliske as an emergency it was with dread fearing the same treatment I had received at Bedford. How wrong I was as I was treated with the utmost respect and consideration by a nursing staff and doctors that could not be faulted. Thank you all for your kindness. Paul
