I attended RBH for a physiotherapy appointment earlier today and felt unwell in the heat and having to tackle the long walk from the car park to the department (disability car park was full).
A lovely physiotherapy assistant noticed my problem and immediately invited me to sit down while they went for a chair.
The physiotherapy assistant also brought a beaker of water along with the wheelchair.
The physiotherapy assistant then took me to the department and collected me afterwards in order to 'wheel' me to the far side of the large car park!
This was going way beyond their call to duty but I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their kindness, concern and compassion. Thank you!
After ensuring that I was safely in my car, this wonderful physiotherapy assistant set off back to the main hospital building with the chair.
I am so grateful as I had been having a little trouble with my heart this week and, in this extremely hot weather, I began to feel very ill but I couldn't have been in a better place.
"Thank you to the Physiotherapy Department"
