About: Sussex Eye Hospital

I attended the eye casualty this morning as I had a floater in my eye, together with pain and a flashing light.

I arrived in the department at 10 am and was told that I would probably have to wait about 2 hours.

I was booked in quite quickly and seen by an optometrist within an hour.

I saw a doctor about 20 minutes later, who gave my eye a thorough examination.

The optometrist explained clearly what they were doing and was able to reassure me that everything was okay.

I was back home by 12.30.

The service I received was excellent.
