"Waterlily birth centre"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

After having my first born son November 2014 on central delivery suite I was debating whether to have my second child at the qeh as my care was not very good. The waterlily birthing centre opened just before my second son was due it sounded lovely and this was were my second son was born february 2016 and I cannot recommend this enough it was fantastic! lovely! amazing! the midwife I had was lovely and their care was brilliant! The rooms are lovely and relaxing I could make myself at home by helping myself to cups of tea. Lovely birthing pools in each room. Although I was only there 6 hours and had zero pain relief it was the most amazing experience!

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on your experience of giving birth to your son in the Waterlilly Birthing Centre. It is great to hear that you had such a good experience and I know that the midwives will be pleased to know that they helped to make it a special time for you both. I trust that your two boys are doing well and enjoying their first summer together.
