Friday 12th August,
I was swimming on Fistral Beach. I was knocked over 15 - 20 times by waves, I was unable to get a foothold due to the force and frequency of the waves. Apparently I may have been unconscious for a while. I was helped from the sea by life guards and taken for treatment. I lost count of the number of people involved in helping me. I was transferred to hospital, where more people were involved in my recovery. When I was given the all clear and allowed to go, staff in the accident ward were busy and I was unable to thank them for all they had done. Thankyou!
