About: Leeds General Infirmary / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I gave birth to my son at the LGI. I was induced on the delivery suite and had absolutely outstanding care from my the team. I loved the continuity of care as Beth and Elishba were the two midwives who got me for their shifts over the two days!

They put my husband at ease during scary times and were attentive and showed me such compassion. In the end we had an assisted delivery and we are so grateful to Elizabeth and Christopher the medics who helped with this.

Being induced was not part of my birth plan but this team really made it a good experience. Thank you all for keeping me safe, helping my husband feel supported but kost of all for bringing our son into the world safely.

You are an absolute credit to the trust.
