"Unacceptable waiting times"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

We arrived for an appointment at 10. 20 the appointment was at 10. 45. Ee were seen for a field of vision test around 10. 30. We waited until 13. 58 which is compleltly disgusting. After 3 hours we spoke to an nurse who then told us there was a delay we spoke other people in the waiting room some people had waited for 4 and half hours that was when I spoke to him at 13. 17 there was also a lot of people booked for the same appointment time to see the doctor. How is it possible to have so many people booked for the same time to see the same person when we confronted the nurse about it they tried to just brush it off I am completely disgusted in your hospital we have to travel 45 minutes to an hour to get to this hospital so our duration is actually longer than what we spent in the building for one appointment or is it just a big con to make us wait around so the carpark charges us a fortune something that should of cost me no more than 3 hours has I want to know what your going to do to change it im not happy I have future appointments with you! !
